This is my latest project for
Use Your Stuff. This bi weekly challenge involved using one of our favorite embellishments on a project. One of my favorite items to include on layouts are banners. I like premade ones like the kraft colored ones draping the picture. I like strips of paper layered on top of each other that tie into the main papers of the layout. I think banners add the perfect oomph to a layout. To pull this project together, I used a variety of patterned papers from a variety of sources including Lawn Fawn's "Werewolf Polka" and Carta Bella's "Christmas Plaid" that match my daughter's college school colors. I was also inspired by the following sketch from my former design team 2 Broke Girls.
