This is my latest project for
Use Your Stash. This week's challenge was to create a project using enamel dots. I loved this picture of my daughter and her best soccer buddy at the end of a weekend long soccer tournament. It was blazing hot that weekend, my daughter hurt her arm during game one of the tournament, and the final game was won in penalty shots. Needless to say, it was an extremely physically and mentally challenging weekend for everyone. I was inspired by the sun setting in the background of the picture, and decided to turn my soccer ball print paper into a large "sun" and used the black enamel dots that the challenge called for into the soccer ball sun's rays.
