ROAD TRIP

This is my latest project for Sketches in Thyme using the following sketch.  Last month, my husband and I finally bought my daughter her dream car.  She had been eyeballing this convertible for months, and after much convincing, we decided to put an offer on it.  To say she has been in heaven would be an understatement.  And I believe the greatest day of her being a car owner was when she finally got to take her dog on a ride with the top down.  He approved of the car as well.  To pull this project together, I splattered gray and black paint on white paper to simulate a car's oil and a variety of papers and cardstock stickers from Bella Blvd's "Let's Go" collection.

4TH BIRTHDAY

This is my latest project for "Use Your Stuff" that required us to create a project with a birthday theme.  I decided to feature pictures of my nephew on his 4th birthday.  He was super into the cartoon "Paw Patrol" at the time, so he had everything from a costume to a cake that was "Paw Patrol" themed.  To pull this project together, I dipped into my stash of dog themed papers using a variety of papers from Imaginisce and Kaisercraft collections.

I BELIEVE IN MANICURES...

This is my latest project for Let's Scrap using the following sketch.  For this project, I was inspired by the vintage mannequins on the sketch and decided to feature pictures of my daughters when they were tiny girls at a fun beauty shop called "Sweet and Sassy."  The girls would go there to get manicures, pedicures, their make up done, etc.  After they were done with their beauty appointment, they would get a chance to strut down the catwalk like real supermodels.  My girls LOVED going there!  I decided pictures of my girls having fun at Sweet and Sassy would be perfect subject matter for a sketch with a fashion theme.  To pull this project together, I used a variety of papers from Echo Park's "Fashionista" collection.

FROG DAYS OF SUMMER

This is my latest project for Use Your Stuff.  This week's challenge was to create a project that was monochromatic.  Over the weekend, two frogs decided to take a swim in my pool.  Nothing brings more joy to my dog than when frogs take up residence in my pool.  He will stare at the pool for hours watching these little guys swim.  So I decided that pictures of my boy playing with his favorite summer time "swimming toys" would be perfect subject matter for a monochromatic challenge.   I used a variety of green papers from my stash along with Doodlebug design letter stickers and cardstock stickers to pull this project together.

OCA 2017-2018

This is my latest double page spread for Let's Scrap using the following sketch.  One of the great things about this design team is that many of the sketches create ways for you to use several pictures.  Since I have taken so many pictures of my daughter during her soccer season this past year, I decided to highlight some of my favorites on this page.  I used a variety of soccer themed papers I've collected over the years along with shamrocks from my St. Patrick's Day collection since my daughter's team is called "Ohio Celtic Alliance."

WHAT'D YOU FIND?

This is my latest project for Sketchy Board Challenges using the following sketch.  I decided that since the theme for this month was "boys," I would utilize my favorite boy subject matter; my nephew.  Boys are not part of my motherhood equation (I have two girls), so I get my testosterone fix though him.  He cracks me up!  He loves cars, super heroes, and currently bugs.  This is my favorite picture of him analyzing some critter he found on his driveway.  To pull this project together, I used a variety of papers from Bella Blvd's "bug Explorer" line along with a variety of Doodlebug Design accessory stickers.
