This is my latest project for Let's Scrap using the following sketch.  Last month was my daughter's birthday.  And it was an interesting one...My daughter has a food allergy, so she can't eat traditional cake.  So my Mom made her safe cupcakes for her birthday.  The cupcakes were sitting on my kitchen table waiting to be eaten when my older daughter came into my office and said, " many cupcakes did Mimi make?"  She had made twelve.  On my table were two cupcakes...My dog ate the other ten. The remnants were scattered on my couch.  Because we were on a tight schedule because of an indoor soccer game and no one wanted to eat a potentially dog saliva covered cupcake, I  improvised.  Come to find out, candles in a pizza work when in a birthday pinch.  (Although the candles melted from the bottom up so they were in a strange "J" shape when I took them out of the pizza).  To document this birthday classic, I used Echo Park's "Party Time" collection.  And as a side note, my Mom made my daughter another batch of safe cupcakes for when she returned from soccer.  So she did eventually get to eat birthday cupcakes. :)
