This is the latest design that I did for Stick it Down, & I have to say, I LOVED this sketch! I decided to use new Valentine paper from the Jillibean Soup "Heart Healthy" line. I don't take a lot of pictures for Valentine's Day, but what I do take a lot of pictures of are my daughter and her best little furry pal. Sometimes papers with busy patterns leave me stumped on how to effectively use them, however, I adored how Shelby, our double team layout designer, used patterned paper as "pennants" on this design. In addition, I love doilies and like how she anchored the title on top of the doily. Overall, I was quite pleased at how quickly this design came together. If you have busy pattern paper, try this sketch out for size!

GO FOR THE GOLD
This RCS challenge was inspired by the upcoming 86th Annual Academy Awards show. In other words, create a project inspired by the Oscars. When I think of the Academy Awards, I think gold....along with all the stars. I felt this picture of my daughter proudly sporting her gold medal in figure skating fit the bill for this challenge! A few stars cut out from my Cricut, a few swatches of the adorable star paper from Simple Stories, a little bit of gold bling, and VOILA! This Academy Award layout was created!

PUPPY LOVE
For this RCS challenge, the inspiration was the movie "Love Actually". Although it's a Christmas movie, the word "love" with Valentine's Day around the corner was the inspiration. I ordered this adorable Valentine paper from Crate Paper and used a sketch from my new design team "Stick it Down" to create this layout. And I knew exactly what pictures I wanted to use; my girls loving on my dog. There is no doubt about it, my puppy dog is loved beyond words! And I thought he was the perfect subject matter for a love layout!

NO MORE PICTURES
This is my latest creation for Child's Play Challenge. We were to make a layout inspired by "Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown." When I saw this challenge, I actually didn't think Valentine's Day. I thought summer; amusement parks; and the cool new chevron paper I got from Simple Stories. This picture was taken of my girls about two years ago with a Snoopy statue, and they really weren't thrilled to have their picture taken....They wanted to ride the rides. So I found this beauty, paired it up with my chevron paper that reminds me of Charlie Brown's shirt, and VOILA! Also, the design was inspired from one previously posted by my old design team 2 Broke Girls. I thought it was a fun way to display the papers and the picture.
